And with Father’s Day fast approaching, the search for the perfect gift to show our appreciation for the father figures in our lives is well underway. One such product that always proves a hit amongst dads, granddads and father figures is a pair of slippers. Recently,
men have been singing the praises of a particular pair of slippers online, lauding their ‘top notch workmanship’ and ‘off the chart’ comfort. For those questioning the slippers ‘ price point, the sleek slip-on design incorporates a special reflexology-inspired sole which features a remarkable nine pressure points to massage the feet while being worn. They’re more than just a slipper. While cheaper models can often be worn through in a matter of months, the Simba slippers are crafted with Merino wool and leather. Boasting an impressive overall rating of 4.7 out of five stars, shoppers describe the width as ‘just right’ and rate the comfort at five out of five. Although it’s important to
note that Simba does state they tend to come up small, advising those between sizes to opt for a size up. One shopper, David, said: “Great slippers – workmanship top notch, very comfortable.” Meanwhile another reviewer, Danielle, rated them as a gift, commenting: “Grandad loves them. Bought them for our grandad who needed some new slippers. He said it’s like walking on a cloud and he cannot take them off.” Another shopper, Emmanuel, said: “Best pair so far. brilliant. I will rate it 10/10. Compared
to those over priced ones, the comfort with this pair is off the chart. Brilliant product by all standards.” “These have been a game changer,” said Andrew, who added: “Standing all day. The ROK sleepers have given me extra comfort for my whole foot, from my heels to my toes. Fantastic.” It’s worth mentioning that while one shopper named Stuart gave the slippers a five star review, he did point out a slight concern with the material, commenting: “Excellent slippers. I wouldn’t normally buy footwear
online without trying but these came highly recommend and didn’t disappoint. “The fit guide is good and they are very comfortable. The raised reflexology massage areas seem to add to the comfort. My only negative point would be that the pale suede does stain easily, so be careful!” Despite this, Muhammad raved: “Amazing slippers – really comfy! Wonderful for wearing around the house. “They refresh tired feet effectively. I look forward to coming home after a long day at work and putting them on to
do their thing.” Echoing this sentiment, another fan of the slippers, Alan, wrote: “Comfort and joy. Probably the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn.” Anthony felt the slippers — available in UK shoe sizes 7-12 — were far too good to be kept strictly indoors, sharing: “Too good to just wear them indoors! I have worn several different shoes in this ‘clog/mule’ style. I can genuinely say that these are by far the most comfortable. “The sole is so comfortable and supportive. They’re a
true fit and size – from when you first put them on you’ll never want to take them off! “The good quality, is shown in the perfect fit, the sole, and the soft leather. They’re very smart so I wear them inside and out. They certainly live up to the hype.” Simba’s Rok Slippers are £89 here.
Father's Day gift, Simba Rok Slippers, slippers men, reflexology-inspired sole, Merino wool, leather slippers, nine pressure points
I mean slippers being “like clouds” is probably just marketing lol.
My grandad would 100% say he doesn’t need anything and then steal mine. Merino wool and leather sounds fancy though. Reflexology?? so it massages his feet while he pretends he’s not impressed?
Nine pressure points… okay so it’s basically a foot torture device if you wear it wrong. Also I don’t get the “price point” part like does it cost more than normal because it massages? I saw “Argos” and thought this was like the LEGO sets thing.
Beige or grey, yep, sounds like every dad’s secret style. My dad lives in the garage then acts like his feet are fine, so I guess slippers that work indoors and outdoors is a win. But are they actually gonna last longer than a couple months? Every time I buy “durable” stuff it falls apart, yet somehow these are “cost-per-wear value” like that’s a real thing.
