Shocking brawl breaks out at Barstool HQ as Dave Portnoy shares footage of ‘Uber Eats driver attacking staffer in dispute over order… before arrest is made’
Dave Portnoy has released footage of a savage brawl at Barstool Sports HQ allegedly involving an Uber Eats driver and a violent dispute over an order.
Security and cell phone footage shows the delivery driver, wearing a motorcycle helmet and large backpack, wrestling with a man near the elevators of the Barstool offices in New York City.
According to founder Portnoy, the fight was sparked by an argument between the Uber Eats driver and a female member of staff. After it escalated, police were reportedly called and the Uber driver was arrested.
‘We had a crazy scene today at Barstool World HQ,’ Portnoy wrote on social media alongside the video.
‘Our security guard Dan went into the hall to tell the guy to leave and he attacked him. Beat him up pretty good.’
Portnoy later added: ‘[We] totally secured and locked down the office. The police did show up and arrest the guy. Danny may need a few stiches [sic] and a couple beers.’

In a clip on social media, the driver can be seen ignoring desperate calls from onlookers to cut out the violence.
Instead, he drags the security guard along the floor and appears to begin punching him in the head. ‘Call 911!’ somebody can be heard shouting in the background.
After around 30 seconds, a number of other members of Barstool staff appeared and wrestled the man off their coworker before shoving him against the wall. ‘He did it first!’ the delivery driver is heard shouting while several men pinned him to the floor.
Portnoy also shared security footage which appeared to show the start of the fight while a woman calls for help. A flurry of co-workers then appeared, with several rushing to protect the security guard.
Portnoy took aim at one member of Barstool staff who came out to see the commotion only to wander back out of shot moments later.
When he reappeared in shot, the man – identified as content creator Tom Scibelli or ‘Tommy Smokes’ – hangs back from the brawl. ‘Bravery like this can not go unnoticed,’ the founder said sarcastically.
Portnoy also took a pop at New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani. ‘Shoutout Mandami’s [sic] NYC,’ he wrote.
