TMZ reports that the LAPD answered a 911 call from Avery’s home around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The website reported that the neighbour was harassing and threatening the contractors doing renovations. But when cops arrived it was peace in the valley. Officers were then called back around 5 p.m. on a shots fired call. Avery, who is attempting to reinvent himself as an actor, was reportedly “on set” filming during the alleged gunplay. His wife, model Hilary Rhoda, was also not home. It wasn’t clear
if the twosome’s 5-year-old son, Nash, was in the home. TMZ said the nasty neighbour was arrested around 6:15 p.m. Avery spent a dozen seasons in the NHL toiling for the Red Wings, Kings, Stars, and Rangers. He scored 90 goals and added 157 assists in 580 games. But he was better known for racking up penalty minutes and led the league twice in that category. He retired in 2012. So the neighbor called 911 and then it turned into a shots fired thing?? Sounds like everyone was lying. Also why would TMZ even say “on set” like that proves anything.
“Frame him with two hookers” is wild but I’m more stuck on the NHL part… like Avery is the one who always got in fights, right? So now I’m thinking the neighbor probably was just catching strays and everybody’s acting shocked. Not saying he did anything, but it feels like his whole vibe always was drama.
LAPD gets a shots fired call at 5pm and then he’s just “on set” filming like it’s a schedule conflict?? Convenient. And if his wife wasn’t home then where was the kid… like was Nash there or not? TMZ blurting out the “cycle Nazi” stuff too, it’s like they’re trying to bury the actual facts with more weird history.
