On Thursday. June 18. the 28-year-old athlete shared an Instagram post explaining why the relationship has him feeling like he finally found what he was looking for. Last year. Olson said. he’d “given up on finding a girl I wanted to be with. ” thinking he needed someone who shared his morals. had “a kind soul. ” and would love him for himself rather than for what he posts online.
He also said he wanted a partner who values family, enjoys spending time together, doesn’t take life so seriously, and doesn’t worry about what other people think. Then, he wrote, “somehow” he found all of that—and “and more”—in Maggie Sajak, 31.
Olson described how the difference hits day-to-day. “I’ve never met someone I thought I could spend every day with until I met her,” he wrote, adding that a major reason is that “we can be our true selves around each other.”
