Anthony Head, her Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star, has died at the age of 72. His daughters, Emily and Daisy Head, announced on Friday that he “passed away peacefully of complications due to pneumonia.”
After the devastating news. Gellar turned to Instagram to mourn the watcher who helped define so much of Buffy’s world. In her caption. she wrote: “‘Tell Giles I figured it out and I’m ok’ Well I don’t have it figured out and I’m not ok. But I know I’m the lucky one because I knew you. Thank you to Daisy and Emily who not only shared their dad with me, but with the world.”.
Alongside her message. she posted several throwback photos—herself and Anthony. the Buffy cast. her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. and their daughter Charlotte. Nobody ever dies and everybody lives happily ever after.”.
