Rosie O’Donnell gives a special shoutout to Donald Trump during the second night of guest hosting duties on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The 64-year-old comedian took to the stage on Tuesday (August 18) and thanked the President for bringing her back into the spotlight during the opening monologue.

“This has been kind of a strange experience for me because all of a sudden I’m re-famous,” she said. “I’m back in the spotlight, all thanks to President Oompa J. Loompa, who is watching us this evening from inside a catering cart. You know, I couldn’t have done it without you, sweetie. You brought me back! Just like you did with fascism and the measles!”

She later spoke about Trump once again, bringing up him claiming the Strait of Hormuz is now a US territory.

“We also learned today – that the United States could be acquiring some new land soon,” Rosie said. “Velveeto Corleone was up bright and early at 7 AM this morning to post an image of a map – listing the Strait of Hormuz as a U.S. Territory. Which makes literally no sense.”

“I’ll put it this way: if the U.S. is in charge of the strait, then I’m also straight,” she continued. “And let’s face it, I’m not. The moronothon continues!”

If you recall, Rosie moved to Ireland after Trump was elected for a second term. Later that year, the President said her US citizenship should be revoked, and she should stay in Ireland.

Last month, she reacted to Trump sharing an AI-generated video of her and said he was the “worst thing that ever happened to our country.
