‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World,’ how to watch for free

We would say “Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World” has perhaps the most long-winded, confusing name in the anime industry, but… let’s be honest; this is anime we’re talking about.
Either way, the new season of the series, which is technically the second half of season 4, is already on Crunchyroll by the time you are reading this.
That’s right. It’s there right now. If you want to watch, you can sign up for a free trial at Crunchyroll, which lasts 7 full days, and watch the premiere as fast as you can enter your information.
The entirety of the series’ earlier episodes are available there, as well.
And it does not even require any extra charges or premium fees beyond your subscription.

The series is a classic staple of the “isekai” genre, in which a (usually socially inept, downtrodden male) character dies in the ‘real world’ and is reborn in a fantastical one with some unique power.
What sets “Re:ZERO” apart a bit is that Subaru, its main character, does not have incredible magic powers or super strength. Instead, every time he dies, he resets to a recent point in time and can attempt to rectify whatever situation led to his death.
While this may sound overpowered in some ways, it is also a terrible curse. He cannot explain his power to anyone, and most of his deaths are horrific, to say the least.
Sign up and watch all of “Re:ZERO” on Crunchyroll. The first seven days of your subscription are free.
