Reports: Colts’ Keenan Allen arrested on drunk driving charges

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested on Saturday night.
The 34-year-old is facing misdemeanour charges of DWI and DWI endangering a person, ESPN and IndyStar reported on Sunday, per online jail records.
Allen was being held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center, per multiple local outlets.
The Colts acknowledged the situation.
“We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night,” the Colts said in a statement provided to ESPN and IndyStar. “We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.”
Allen signed with the Colts earlier on a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million with fellow receiver Alec Pierce still recovering from ankle surgery.
The six-time Pro Bowler Allen has caught at least 100 passes in a season five times, won the NFL’s 2017 Comeback Player of the Year Award and is the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers’ career leader with 985 receptions in 12 seasons with the team.
