I don’t even get why Iran is getting brought up like it’s 2002 again. World Cup opener should just be about the rugby, not politics.
Sounds like everybody’s mad about nothing. If New Zealand played better then Iran wouldn’t be a topic, right? Also I swear these ‘debates’ are just people fighting in the comments.
Wait so is this the soccer World Cup or the rugby thing? The headline says opener vs New Zealand but then the article preview is like… just a bunch of teams? I think they’re mad because Iran lost and the refs were involved or something.
Honestly I’m tired of countries using sports as a soapbox. But also like why is Sky Sports even making it a ‘debate’ headline? Next they’ll blame social media or the anthem or whatever. I’m sure someone is upset about the broadcast too.
