One of Prime Video’s most popular series is back in full force. Reacher, which is inspired by the popular novels by Lee Child, recently premiered its fourth season. It wasn’t long before the show started to climb the platform’s charts.
Not only that, but many fans are already demanding more. Luckily, they’re going to get it. Here’s everything we know about the show’s future.
Reacher Season 5 Release Date
Prime Video renewed the action series for more episodes a while back, so Reacher season 5 is coming sooner rather than later.
Plus, they announced that the fifth installment will adapt Make Me, the 20th novel in the series. Based on the show’s previous release schedule, it should be here sometime in summer 2027.
If that’s not enough, the show is treating fans to a spin-off. Titled Neagley, it will premiere in a few weeks, on September 16. The focus will be on the title character, Reacher’s former protégé.

What Could Happen in Reacher Season 5?
Reacher revolves around Jack Reacher, a former US Army Military Police officer who lives as a drifter, traveling from town to town with almost no possessions. Wherever he goes, trouble has a tendency to find him.
Season 4 adapts Gone Tomorrow, the 13th book in the series. This time around, Reacher is caught up in a dangerous conspiracy after a random encounter with a distressed woman on a New York subway ends in her death.
What initially appears to be a random tragedy proves to be connected to a larger operation. It involves government secrets and powerful people. As Reacher investigates, he discovers that the woman was carrying information multiple groups desperately want to recover.
The show is still ongoing, with episodes arriving weekly on Prime Video until September 16. As for Reacher season 5, it should be set in a small Midwestern town, where the titular character helps with a missing person case. If the plot stays faithful to the book, that is.
