Queen Camilla’s ‘goodwill’ during recent reunion with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘calmed’ their ‘fear of returning’ to the U.K.: royal expert
Queen Camilla reportedly played nice with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their recent visit to Highgrove.
According to a royal expert, Her Majesty’s kindness toward the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made them feel like they would be welcomed back into the royal fold.

In a piece for Daily Mail, royal expert Tom Bower claimed the meetup between the family members was “polite with no recrimination.”
“Queen Camilla — fixed smile in place — offered tea to her stepson despite his public denunciation of her as ‘evil’” the reporter wrote, referring to Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare.
“It would appear that the goodwill shown calmed the Sussexes’ fear of returning,” Bower alleged.
If Harry ‘trips up’ Camilla ‘will seize on it’
While Camilla ensured that the reunion was pleasant, she’s reportedly still cautious about Harry and Meghan.
“For Harry, it’s especially difficult because he’s coming back into the lion’s den knowing Camilla will be watching his every move and that if he trips up, she will seize on it,” an insider told Closer.
“Camilla is very much the gatekeeper and she’s let it be known that she will be front and center anytime Harry sees his father [King Charles III], whether Meghan is there or not,” they continued. “If Meghan does come, there’s no doubt she will be even more hawkeyed.”
Camilla is ‘still deeply resentful’ over what Harry wrote in ‘Spare’
Despite putting His Majesty’s needs first, the former Duchess of Cornwall is reportedly still hurting from Harry claiming he and Prince William warned their father against marrying her.
“Just because she was courteous and made nice the last time Harry was there doesn’t mean the bad blood has gone away,” the source said.
“She’s still deeply resentful over what he said in Spare and by all accounts, there’s been no apology from Harry. And there’s not likely to be any apology because Harry is still just as resentful of her,” the insider claimed.
Camilla ‘always suspected’ Harry and William ‘were being vicious behind her back’
Even after years of being a part of the family, Camilla reportedly still cannot get over the past with her stepsons.
“Camilla always suspected they [Harry and William] were being vicious behind her back, but Harry finally confirmed it and she won’t soon forget it,” the source explained.
“She doesn’t trust him one bit and even less now that he’s with Meghan,” they noted.
