“This is a terribly tense time — a total uprooting like this is up there with divorce and bereavement as one of life’s most stressful experiences,” an insider told Closer.
“It could be the beginning of the end if Meghan’s not willing to toe the line,” the source claimed.
Friends ‘worry’ that this is the ‘worst move Harry has ever made’
With the pair’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, having mostly grown up in America, the sudden change could throw the family into turmoil.
“Those close to the couple are concerned and worry that this could be the worst move Harry has ever made,” the insider alleged.
“This isn’t a fairy tale. It’s real life. Meghan’s already got her back up,” they continued. “But Harry wants this. His focus is all about the children, getting them enrolled back into the royal fold and allowing them to grow up with family around them.”
Meghan ‘felt vilified’ by the British public
The Suits actress reportedly prepared for an ice-cold reception in the country she spoke out against.
“The strain of returning to a country where Meghan felt vilified won’t disappear overnight,” the source emphasized.
“But Harry is confident he’s doing the right thing for his family,” the insider explained.
Meghan wants to make ‘friends in high places’ while in the U.K.
As Harry and Meghan adjust to their new normal, their priorities are reportedly differing over how to make England their home and find community.
“He’s hoping to build a safe circle,” the source noted.
“Meghan wants to meet other parents and has her sights set on friends in high places,” they added.
