Final day chaos: survival, Europe, Guardiola’s City swansong

The final day has come. 37 games. Nine months of drama. Scraps at the top and bottom. And it all comes down to this. Final day madness. The amount of storylines today is actually mental, like, we haven’t had a final day like this in years. The title may have been decided in midweek, but we still have a relegation scrap, which is possibly the biggest we have seen in Premier League history in terms of the size of the clubs involved. Then we have

the battle for Europe, Pep Guardiola’s final game in charge of Manchester City, Mohamed Salah’s farewell at Liverpool, and Andoni Iraola is also leaving Bournemouth. It’s fair to say, with all that is going on, you are sure to be entertained this afternoon. It is going to be non-stop drama, and I just know I’m going to be non-stop tapping away for the next seven hours. It’s time to truly lock in. So, get yourself a nice cold bevvie, pull up a pew in the

glorious sunshine, and enjoy the show. Let the chaos commence.

Premier League final day, Tottenham vs Everton, West Ham vs Leeds, relegation battle, battle for Europe, Arsenal celebrate title, Pep Guardiola goodbye, Manchester City, Mohamed Salah farewell, Liverpool, Andoni Iraola leaving Bournemouth

  1. The article says Pep’s swansong but I swear City always says stuff like that every season. Also “Europe battle”?? Isn’t that just Champions League stuff? I’m confused already.

  2. Tottenham vs Everton sounds random but if Arsenal is celebrating the title then it’s probably over and we can all chill right? Like relegation scrap is just for drama points, teams should’ve played better earlier.

  3. West Ham vs Leeds and Liverpool with Salah farewell? I’m gonna be stuck watching all day and pretending I’m “doing work” lol. Why does it feel like every final day has 9 million storylines though. Also Andoni Iraola leaving Bournemouth… didn’t he just get there? Feels like they made a decision out of nowhere.
