The parents-to-be were there for Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Plaza. 41. wore a long black dress and covered her pregnant belly with a brown leather jacket. finishing the look with a Knicks hat. Abbott, 40, matched the moment in Knicks gear.

Plaza and Abbott have shared more than just screen time. The couple first worked together in summer 2019 on the indie movie Black Bear. which they later took to the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020. They went on to work together again on the off-Broadway play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. which ran performances from October 2023 to January 2024.
Their pregnancy adds a new chapter to that long-running collaboration. Plaza’s pregnancy was announced in April, with news confirming she and Abbott are expecting their first child. During a recent appearance on the Smartless podcast. Plaza confirmed the news and spoke about her excitement about becoming a mom.
