New York Jets futures on Polymarket

The New York Jets might be the most cursed team in NFL history, with 15 years since their last playoff appearance and just one season over a .500 record since 2011. Unfortunately, Polymarket’s prices reflect that, with none of its team futures over 2%.

Jets training camp points to watch

Training camp for the New York Jets starts on Tuesday, July 28, with several questions that need answering regarding the QB position, a new look on defense, and several rookies that are in line to start.

How does Geno look?

The New York Jets made arguably the most questionable move in reuniting with Geno Smith as their QB1. While he’s found success since his 2017 departure from the Jets, things quickly faded for him as he’s coming off his second-lowest yardage total (3,025) as a starter and second-most interceptions thrown (17).

Jets fans are going to want to see upside from the 35-year-old that he might not be able to give. It’s also worth taking a look behind Smith at Cade Klubnik, whom the Jets drafted in the fourth round.

Defensive mesh

While the offense certainly has some negative questions, this defense could make some real noise. Five new starters were either signed or traded for in the offseason, highlighted by Minkah Fitzpatrick, Demario Davis, and David Onyemata.

Historically, Jets defenses have performed well, and that has shown in recent seasons with top-5 finishes in the fewest yards allowed in three of the last four seasons.

Immediate impact rookies

Jets GM Darren Mougey was a busy man on draft night with seven selections, and three of them expected to start. We’re eying linebacker David Bailey, CB D’Angelo Ponds, and WR Omar Cooper as rookies that could make an immediate impact. Keep an eye on Kenyon Sadiq at tight end, who could eventually win over the starting role.

New York Giants futures on Polymarket

Things are looking way up for the New York Giants with a new head coach in John Harbaugh and one of the best young cores that the league has to offer. Despite Polymarket not leaning as heavily on the Giants, there is still plenty to look forward to this season.

Giants training camp points to watch

The New York Giants also start training camp on Tuesday, with more logistical things to look for. Mainly surrounding injuries and progression headed into next season.

Malik Nabers

Nabers tore his ACL in Week 4 of last season and suffered setbacks in his rehabilitation, which will leave him out to start the season. There is no update on when he’ll return to action or even what workouts he’ll do during training camp.

Dart’s step forward

John Harbaugh is the best hire that Jaxson Dart could’ve asked for. Harbaugh is great at development, and Lamar Jackson is a prime example of that. Dart has a similar dual-threat play style to Jackson and is a slightly better passer than Jackson was when he was entering his sophomore season.

Wide receiver depth

Outside of Malik Nabers, this is a crowded room for the WR2 slot with Darius Slayton serving in that spot now and Calvin Austin, Darnell Mooney, and JuJu Smith-Schuster all signing in free agency. Look for Isaiah Likely to make an immediate impact at the starting tight end.

How to trade on NFL team futures on Polymarket

Using Polymarket to trade on NFL team futures offers tremendous value early on before the season starts. Trading prices and percentages are showing the value of each selection, with the higher the price, the stronger the favorite that selection is. Above the 50% mark is where your profit offers negative value.

Each event contract will settle at $1, with the profit being the margin between the trading price and $1. Using the Giants’ NFC East championship price as an example, you’d earn $.87 per share traded on them to win the division. At a $30 trade, you’d profit $190.73 if they win the NFC East.
