Pokémon fans are currently gathered in San Francisco for the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, but it is already almost time to start thinking about next year. After a packed weekend of competitive play, major announcements, and plenty of surprises, Worlds is coming to a close at the Chase Center. The Pokémon World Championships have become much more than the culmination of the competitive season. Thousands of fans travel to the host city every year, whether they are competing themselves or simply want to be part of one of the biggest Pokémon events of the year.
