Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis married his high school sweetheart. Kaia Harris. in Glyfada. Greece. on May 9. PEOPLE reported on May 11. Karlaftis grew up in Greece until he was 13. Before the Chiefs selected him. he played college football at Purdue. and in the 2022 NFL Draft Kansas City drafted him 30th overall.
Photos of Swift attending the May wedding circulated on social media on Tuesday. PEOPLE also reported that Kelce, 36, and Swift, 36, attended Karlaftis’ wedding. Swift has been the couple’s constant link to Chiefs football — at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City in July 2023. Kelce attended her “The Eras Tour” concert. and dating began after that night.
Swift then became a game-day fixture, taking in Chiefs games from her box suite as the team charged into back-to-back Super Bowls. The Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII by beating the San Francisco 49ers and later lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
