The Philadelphia Phillies are chasing a playoff spot with the regular season winding down. The Phillies sought to add another victory to the win column on Friday when they took on the St. Louis Cardinals. Philadelphia and St. Louis fought tooth and nail, but infielder Alec Bohm gave the Phillies the win they needed.
Bohm came to the plate with runners on the corners and no one out in the 10th inning. Philadelphia trailed 6-5, meaning the winning run was on first base. He came short of knocking the ball out for a home run. However, the veteran infielder certainly got enough of the ball to drive in both runs.
