Perez Hilton Hospitalized After Police Respond to His Home, Managers Issue Statement
Perez Hilton has been taken to the hospital after police responded to his Miami home following calls of concern on Tuesday (August 4).
The 48-year-old celebrity blogger was livestreaming on social media and appeared to be harming himself, leading to multiple calls to the police.
In a previous statement, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they “tactically disengaged while continuing to monitor the situation and providing the needed support to his family.”
Now, the sheriff’s office has confirmed that Perez has been transported to the hospital, where he will receive medical attention.
“The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” a spokesperson for the MDSO shared with TheWrap. “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.”
Perez‘s managers, Golden Artists Entertainment Co-CEOs Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, also released a statement with TMZ.

At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez‘s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further.
We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.
The livestream video has since been taken down from his TikTok account, which has also been suspended, per TheWrap.
