I mean if it was a late foul at a corner then yeah it should’ve been a penalty. Feels like they always pick on Spurs when it matters most. Also Cucurella already has that reputation anyway.
Wait so did Sturridge just argue it wasn’t a penalty but then the headline makes it sound like it was? Kinda confusing. Like corner fouls are always 50/50 to me, but if Dawson and Sturridge are debating then who even knows what happened in real time. Spurs fans gonna say robbery for sure.
This is why the PL is so annoying. One bad call and the whole relegation battle changes and then everybody pretends it’s “just football.” I don’t even remember the match but I saw ‘late foul’ and thought yep that’s a penalty. Also De Zerbi quote is irrelevant but Sky keeps putting it there lol.
