Paul Rudd Denies Botox Rumors, Points to Moving Face

Paul Rudd isn’t buying the long-running Botox theory. On Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, the 57-year-old addressed the viral questions about why he “don’t age,” saying, “No. Look at my face,” and demonstrating that his eyebrows still move. Rudd previously told

Paul Rudd’s famously youthful face has turned into a standing pop-culture riddle—one fans have tried to solve with everything from “vampires” to secret laboratories. This time, the internet’s favorite mystery question finally got a direct answer.

During a recent appearance on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, the 57-year-old actor was asked, “Are you vegan?” When Rudd said he isn’t, Shane pivoted to the bigger mystery that has followed him for years: “So then why don’t you age?”

Rudd pushed back immediately, telling Shane, “I do. You’re kind for saying that, but I really do.” It was the kind of response that lands with a smile—until the conversation veered into the rumor that never goes away: Botox.

Shane went straight for it, asking whether cosmetic injectables could be responsible for Rudd’s “ageless” look. Rudd’s answer was simple, blunt, and very visual. “No. Look at my face.”

To prove the point, the 40-Year-Old Virgin star lifted his eyebrows and showed they actually move—an on-the-spot detail that undercut the frozen-face stereotype people associate with Botox.

Rudd has been asked to explain his appearance before. Back in 2023. he told Men’s Health that one of the most important factors in his routine is sleep. emphasizing consistently getting around eight hours of rest. He’s also shared that his fairly straightforward morning routine includes coffee and cardio before breakfast.

And through it all, he hasn’t lost his humor about the whole thing. In 2019, during a reunion with his Clueless cast mates, he joked that he’s much older than he looks on the inside, saying there was “pure darkness” there—before adding that “a little moisturizer probably helps too.”

The most stubborn part of the story isn’t whether Rudd is aging—it’s that fans keep wanting a single secret. On this podcast, he gave them one hard boundary: “No.”

For now, the internet can speculate as long as it wants. Rudd, though, is sticking with the explanation he can physically demonstrate.

  1. I don’t buy the “my eyebrows move” thing. Botox or whatever can still look natural now. Also these actors always say the same bedtime story.

  2. Wait he’s NOT vegan but that’s the mystery? I got confused reading this. But yeah honestly, if he sleeps 8 hours then everyone should be 30 forever.

  3. Man the internet will never stop with celebrities aging questions. They act like there’s one lab or vampire thing, but then it’s “coffee and cardio” like come on. You know he’s got something going on, even if he’s denying the Botox. The part about “moving eyebrows” just feels like a demo he planned.
