San Francisco Giants (62-85, 4th in NL West)
The Giants just swept the Cardinals, who are on the margin of the NL wild-card race and they split with the Diamondbacks on their previous homestand. They have, however, already clinched a third losing season in the last four years. Their current .422 winning percentage under rookie manager Tony Vitello and baseball ops chief Buster Posey would be the franchise’s worst since 2017 (.395).

San Francisco: Traded to the Giants last month, Eastlake High grad Marcelo Mayer (forearm) is hoping to make his debut for his new team before the end of the season.
