So they just lose everyone??
I saw “add four teams” and immediately thought this is gonna ruin the whole league. Like why do they keep expanding if it’s costing Ottawa their best players. Brianne Jenner and Emily Clark gone is rough.
Wait so the Ottawa Charge “will recover” but somehow that means they still lost two people already? I’m confused. Is this like trading them to the new teams or just letting them walk. Also June 17 draft, but isn’t that kinda soon like right around the corner, how much can they really rebuild.
Expansion always sounds cool until you realize it’s mostly paperwork and losing players. I don’t even know who Don Brennan is but if he’s answering questions then he better explain why they couldn’t protect Jenner or Clark in the first place. Also “complex, multi-phase” makes it sound like a mess that nobody asked for. If Ottawa doesn’t bounce back fast I feel like attendance gonna drop.
