MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Police have identified two people killed in a crash on I-85 in Montgomery over the weekend.
The crash happened Saturday between the Taylor Road and Chantilly Parkway exits.
Police say 26-year-old Alyshia Rushing and 20-year-old Landon Dunn were both killed in the crash.
Rushing was a social media content creator known on TikTok as “Mama-A,” where she had nearly 540,000 followers.
Dunn was a U.S. Marine, according to a GoFundMe set up by a family friend.
“Landon’s death has deeply affected everyone close to him, including his family, friends, and fellow Marines,” the GoFundMe says in part. If you would like to donate to support Dunn’s family, you can do so here.
A passenger in Rushing’s car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
