  1. So it reopened then closed again? I don’t even know where exit 286 is, but sounds like every exit is chaos. Loose gravel and oil debris is honestly the worst combo.

  2. People keep saying semi tipped on the off-ramp, but isn’t this more like bad road design at Merritt? Like how hard is it to keep the connector from wrecking trucks? If exit 286 is closed, why not just close 290 too so nobody gets confused.

  3. I saw “oil debris” and immediately thought it’d be closed all night. Also the article says traffic might still be getting by, but then it’s closed later anyway… so which one is it?? Either way, I’m staying off that area. Semi trucks always make everything slower, and then you’re stuck staring at cones.
