Prime Video’s Off Campus is gearing up for season 2, with filming expected to run June 1 through September 18, 2026, and a likely April or May 2027 release. Exact locations haven’t been announced, but Vancouver is on fans’ radar after season 1’s shoot there.
By the time season 1 wrapped, “Off Campus” fans weren’t just waiting—they were calculating. When the next chapter will begin and where it will be filmed suddenly matters as much as who’s back.
Filming for “Off Campus” season 2 is expected to run from June 1 through September 18, 2026. If production stays on schedule, the series is likely to land in either April or May 2027.
The production schedule is clear. The locations are not. Prime Video has not revealed the exact film locations for the second season, but season 1 was filmed in Vancouver, which leaves the city as the most likely revisit.
Prime Video has also been cautious about set-location chatter for its young-adult romance universe. For “The Summer I Turned Pretty. ” the TSITP X account posted in early May 2026 that fans should not “go overboard by sharing set locations” or visiting sets. The message warned that set sharing can “disrupt filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew. ” adding that the team is working to create a “protected bubble” so the story can be made and kept secure until it’s ready.
When season 2 does arrive on screen, it will center on Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes. Showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed the focus during the lead-up to the show’s next stretch, naming Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis and Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes.
Levy explained that she wanted viewers to know who they’d be tuning in for next. saying Allie felt “so organic” because she’s Hannah’s best friend and Dean is already there. Levy also pointed to the book’s setup—Dean and Allie’s love story is a secret—framing the decision as something that can still land as a surprise “even to book fans” when the show launches.
Levy also said “all eight scripts [were] written,” and added that there’s a “very exciting plan for the season,” without sharing details, saying she doesn’t want to “say anything yet,” but that book fans will be “very excited.”
Casting news continues to build around the core pair. Alongside Kalyn and Abdalla, Elle Bright and Belmont Cameli will reprise their roles as Hannah Wells and Garret Graham, respectively. Back at Briar University for season 2 are Jalen Thomas Brooks, Julia Sarah Stone, and likely Khobe Clarke, among others.
New additions are also in the mix: India Fowler, Antonio Cipriano, and Hamilton star Phillipa Soo. One notable absence is season 1 star Josh Heuston, who will not return for season 2. That said. it doesn’t rule out a future return—Heuston’s departure “doesn’t mean he’ll never reprise his role as Justin Kohl.”.
What’s become clear as season 2 moves closer is the balance Prime Video is trying to strike: keep filming secure while giving viewers enough information to stay invested.
