Introducing Our New, Bite-Size Daily Lesson Plans
Every school day you’ll find a new lesson idea, that can be used as a quick warm-up or extended over a full class period. Over each week, we’ll target ELA, social studies, STEM, the arts and media literacy.
Here’s how these lessons will work:
We will aim for each activity to take just a short bit of time — about 15 minutes — but of course your mileage may vary depending on your students, curriculum and classroom protocols.
There will always be a “going further” option in case you’d like to extend the lesson.
Every week we’ll hit subjects across the curriculum on a predictable schedule, and, as we publish, you can find the full collection of those lessons by clicking on each subject area.
Mondays: English language arts
Tuesdays: social studies, history and civics
Wednesdays: science, math, health, technology and engineering
Thursdays: media literacy or the arts (we will vary these)
Fridays: A cross-curricular activity that teaches life skills, invites game playing, promotes community, or offers teenagers news they can use.
