Nicole Kidman’s Father’s Day post looked like a throwback meant to hold two parts of her life in the same frame.
On Sunday, the actress shared two old black-and-white photos on Instagram. One was a tribute to her dad, Dr. Antony Kidman, wishing him a Happy Father’s Day. In the image, Antony is holding a young Nicole, with her arms wrapped around him.
Antony died in 2014 after he reportedly fell inside his hotel room in Singapore.
The second photo brought her ex-husband into the story. Keith Urban is pictured giving a piggyback to the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Alongside the snapshot, Kidman wished Keith a Happy Father’s Day, despite the fact that they are divorced.
Nicole and Keith married in 2006. They separated in 2025 and were officially divorced early this year. While Kidman has primary custody of their daughters, Urban was granted visitation every other weekend.
The way Kidman posted—father, then ex—turns the holiday into something more than a social media moment. It’s the same family threads, pulled across different chapters and still connected by the children at the center.
This wasn’t the only goodwill exchanged between them around the same time. Keith Urban also wished Nicole a happy 59th birthday on Instagram.
