New Jersey Hairdresser Allegedly Tried To Hire Tinder Match To Kill Her Police Officer Ex-Boyfriend And His Daughter!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

A New Jersey hairdresser is accused of taking a Tinder match to a horrifying new level.

According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, 28-year-old Jaclyn Diiorio (pictured above, in her mugshot) has been indicted on two counts related to an alleged murder-for-hire scheme targeting her ex-boyfriend, a 53-year-old Philadelphia police officer, and his 19-year-old daughter.

The pair reportedly met while Diiorio was cutting the officer’s hair a couple years back, and then they dated for about a year before splitting last March. Soon afterward, prosecutors say via Oxygen and others, Diiorio matched with a man on Tinder — without realizing the guy was also apparently a confidential informant for Camden County, New Jersey law enforcement officials.

According to a probable cause statement obtained by CNN and others, the two communicated by phone and text for a while before meeting at a Wawa store in the city of Runnemede. It was there that prosecutors allege Diiorio offered the informant $12,000 to kill both her ex and his daughter.

At another meeting on April 4, 2025, in a Dollar General parking lot in Gloucester Township, Diiorio allegedly got into the informant’s white Honda Civic, asked to see his driver’s license and handed him $500. Authorities arrested her shortly afterward.

Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said at a press conference that month:

“Once money was exchanged, we knew that charges were appropriate.”

No kidding…

Diiorio was initially charged in New Jersey with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Those charges were reportedly dismissed after the case moved into federal court over the hit-man allegations.

Next up, the hairdresser is scheduled for a detention hearing next week. If ultimately convicted on the federal charges, she could face up to 20 years in prison. Sheesh…

Diiorio’s attorney told the Philadelphia Inquirer that she will plead not guilty, FYI.

What a crazy story. Reactions, y’all? Share ’em (below).
