New Hampshire’s Kayda Bosse rocks Love Island USA

Added as a Fiji “bombshell” on Love Island USA, 22-year-old model and server Kayda Bosse quickly pulled Zach Georgiou into a private bungalow, left another islander single at the first recoupling, and is now turning down other advances as tensions simmer from

In the Fiji villa. the door-knock task wasn’t just an icebreaker—it was a swing of the matchmaker’s hand that left some of the men “completely single and vulnerable.” This season. contestants were paired through an unusual compatibility game: they kissed others based on shared answers. then selected their matches by standing outside potential mates’ doors. From there, couples formed—until the host, Ariana Madix, brought in two “bombshells” to shake up everything.

The first twist was simple and brutal: the two bombshells were given the power to steal two men and two women away from their partners for 24 hours. Among them was Kayda Bosse, a 22-year-old model and server from New Hampshire.

Bosse arrived with a confidence that immediately landed. As she entered the villa alongside fellow bombshell Gabriel Vasconcelos, she said, “I’m a 10 out of 10,” adding, “These men are going to fall to their knees for me.”

Her timing seemed to matter. Bosse quickly caught the attention of islanders Zach Georgiou and Bryce Alakai Dettloff. Before the season’s first recoupling. she whisked both men away to a private bungalow outside the villa. where she spent time getting to know each of them. When the moment for choice came. Bosse ultimately selected Georgiou—leaving fellow islander Kenzie Annis single after the season’s first fire pit recoupling.

From their first conversation, Bosse and Georgiou looked like more than a temporary detour. During their first date, Bosse said of Georgiou, “I like a guy who knows what he wants,” before the pair shared a kiss. Now the villa is watching whether that first spark holds.

Bosse’s closeness with Georgiou is already changing the atmosphere around her. She has been turning down advances from other islanders, including Sincere Rhea. After one of the season’s first challenges, Bosse explained her decision to Rhea by saying, “The conversation just didn’t flow.”

But the villa’s tension hasn’t been limited to romance. During episode three, a challenge required contestants to reveal embarrassing experiences and answer personal questions about their dating histories. Based on those answers. fellow islanders decided who would be pushed into the villa’s pool. creating awkward moments and early tensions among the cast.

Even with Bosse joining after the original cast, she wasted little time creating her own ripple effects. In a teaser for an upcoming episode, Bosse is seen cozying up to a new, mysterious bombshell—while the villa’s first New England presence has also become a story of its own.

Bosse is the first New Englander to show up so far on season 8. but she isn’t the first local to appear on the franchise. Past “Love Island” alums from the area include Everett native Bryan Arenales, who won “Love Island USA” last season. Joel Bierwert, also from Massachusetts, appeared on season 4. Toni Laites, from Connecticut, was the first American bombshell on “Love Island UK” and won with her partner Cacherel Mercer.

Right now, Bosse’s message is simple: she didn’t come to wait her turn. In a villa built on pressure, countdowns, and sudden steals, she’s already forcing decisions—starting with Georgiou, and now with whatever comes next.

  1. Kayda Bosse saying she’s a 10 like ok sure lol. I bet the men are not falling to their knees.

  2. So they just pick people by kissing random strangers based on “shared answers” and then door knock them?? That sounds like high school, not dating.

  3. I don’t get why everyone’s calling her a Fiji bombshell like Fiji is even involved in the choice. Also if she stole people for 24 hours isn’t that just cheating for a day? Then they act like it’s romance.

  4. Ariana bringing bombshells every episode is basically like the producers yelling “create drama” into a microphone. The door-knock task being a matchmaker swing sounds made up, like why would knocking doors “leave men vulnerable” ??? Anyway Zach better watch out because these shows be moving fast.
