Neve Campbell Remembers ‘Scream 4’ Co-Star Hayden Panettiere After Her Death, Says ‘She Was A True Talent’

Neve Campbell is paying tribute to her late Scream IV co-star Hayden Panettiere.
Hayden died on August 16 at the young age of 36 after going into cardiac arrest in an apartment in South Carolina, where she was visiting with her on-again off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson. She passed just five days shy of her 37th birthday.
Following Hayden‘s passing, Neve released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter remembering the late actress.
“I found Hayden to be really kind and funny and brought a magnetic energy to set,” Neve shared. “She was a true talent which shows in the decades she worked in such a short life. Her family and loved ones are in my prayers.”
If your forgot, Hayden joined the horror movie franchise for Scream IV, which was released in 2011. She played Kirby Reed, who is a sharp, horror movie-savvy high school student who survives a brutal stabbing by Ghostface.
While Hayden returned for 2023’s Scream VI, Neve did not.
How did Hayden Panettiere die?
If you don’t know, earlier in the week, the autopsy was officially performed and the coroner shared a statement on some findings. Reports suggest it could have been an overdose.
Hayden‘s estranged mother just shared new details on the late actress’ death investigation.
