First picture of CEO found dead in Warwickshire home

A man discovered dead with stab wounds at his £2.5 million family home in a peaceful Warwickshire village has been named as Neil Muller. The 54 year old sustained stab wounds to his chest in the early hours of Sunday morning. A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of Mr Muller, CEO of a prominent technology firm, at his countryside residence. A 55 year old woman was detained an hour after Mr Muller was found injured at his gated, five-bedroom

property in the village of Claverdon, Warwickshire, and has since been released on bail. Paramedics were called to the scene at 6.15am, but tragically Mr Muller was pronounced dead at 6.37am. Warwickshire Police confirmed that a woman from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of murder at 7.33am. Mr Muller had recently taken on the role of CEO at technology firm Node4. In an official statement, a Node4 spokesman said: “We are absolutely devastated by the death of our CEO Neil Muller. “Although Neil only recently

joined Node4, he made a meaningful impact in a short space of time. “He brought real energy, momentum and passion to the business, and his loss will be deeply felt by people across Node4 and the wider industry. “Our thoughts are with Neil’s family, our colleagues and everyone who knew Neil at this very difficult time.” Neil joined the company in April this year, having previously led MSP Digital Space for seven years. Mr Muller also managed local football club Claverdon FC. He was married

and had two children. Mr Muller’s father Brian, 81, informed the Daily Mail: “It’s a peculiar situation, we are still waiting to hear what happened. “I had a phone call from the police at 9am on Monday morning to say Neil had died but we’ve not been told anything else. “We’ve not had a visit from the police or anything, so we just don’t know. “We only spoke on the phone last week, but sometimes we go a few months without hearing from him. He’s

a busy man with work.” The incident has left locals “shocked”. One resident, who requested anonymity, commented: “Neil did a lot for the local football club. “I heard about it in the village shop this morning. It is a real shock and a real loss to the village.” Officers remained at the scene of the alleged stabbing on Tuesday, June 9. Mr Muller had stepped down as assistant manager of Claverdon football club’s men’s team in 2024, but continued his involvement with the club and

acted as a sponsor. His death occurred the evening following an end of season awards ceremony hosted at the Red Lion pub according to locals, though it remains unclear whether he was present. Club chairman Charlie Waterworth stated: “I have heard the news but it is just too early to be making any statements. “I am out of the country. I don’t know the circumstances. It would be wrong to say anything.'” A member of staff at the Red Lion pub remarked: ‘It has come

as a massive shock and we really don’t want to say anything. It is too early.””

  1. They said she’s from Birmingham and got arrested then released on bail?? Makes no sense to me. If it’s murder, why bail already.

  2. Wait so Neil Muller was CEO of Node4 right, and they’re acting like he just “only recently joined” so now we should all be shocked? Meanwhile it’s still the same killer story as always. Also Claverdon FC… was he trying to fix the club or something??

  3. Warwickshire village, gated house, £2.5 million… feels like one of those cases where they don’t tell the whole truth at first. “First picture of CEO found dead” makes it sound like they’re pushing a story more than explaining. And released on bail already, like maybe it wasn’t even him they’re sure about? Idk I’m just confused.
