The company has unveiled the MPG OLED 322URDX36 ahead of Computex 2026. where it will be officially launched when the show opens on June 2. 2026. MSI is calling it the world’s first Triple Mode gaming monitor. and the pitch is simple: three resolution and refresh rate combinations. switchable on demand.
The headline numbers are the kind that make your eyes do a double take. The MPG OLED 322URDX36 can run 4K at 360Hz, 2K at 520Hz, or FHD at 680Hz. Just as important, MSI says you don’t have to sacrifice refresh rate to prioritize resolution—4K still tops out at 360Hz.
That’s where this steps past the usual dual-mode setup. Dual-mode gaming monitors on the market typically let you toggle between two performance profiles. such as 4K and FHD or 2K and FHD. But MSI says none of those dual-mode options reach 360Hz at 4K, and none offer three modes. In other words, the company isn’t just adding a toggle—it’s claiming a structural shift.
Under the hood. the monitor uses a 32-inch fifth-generation QD-OLED panel built with Samsung’s Penta Tandem technology. the same architecture Samsung has used to push brightness and longevity on its recent OLED models. MSI lists peak HDR brightness at 1,500 nits, aimed at boosting visibility in brighter rooms.
MSI has also carried over its DarkArmor Film from previous models, saying it improves black levels by 40% compared to regular OLED panels. For OLED gaming, that matters because black performance is often the part you feel immediately—especially in darker scenes where contrast becomes everything.
Triple Mode doesn’t stop at the display tech, either. On connectivity, MSI is equipping the MPG OLED 322URDX36 with a DisplayPort 2.1a port with UHBR20. MSI’s claim here is specific: it can push 4K at 360Hz without compression. There’s also a USB Type-C port with 98W power delivery. a detail that lands more squarely in the creator and professional workflow lane than the average desk gamer.
At this stage, pricing and availability haven’t been announced.
The timing is interesting. The gaming monitor market has been circling back to the same dual-refresh-rate formula for nearly two years. so this “Triple Mode” approach is the first attempt—at least from MSI—that feels like it could change what people actually buy. not just how they toggle settings after they already decided. The supply chain and pricing will still have to prove it can land in real-world shopping carts. but the basic idea is hard to ignore.
