MLB Standings Tighten as Weekend Games Loom

MLB standings – With weekend matchups set across both leagues, teams are fighting to gain ground in the standings—while Thursday’s results reshaped the race from division leaders to deep contenders.

  1. I don’t even get why the standings say Tampa is behind New York but then it’s showing like New York’s numbers are different too? It’s like the table got scrambled. Either way, every pitch this weekend sounds stressful.

  2. Boston being 13½ back is wild. At that point I feel like it’s over, and then they’ll still hype it like “every game matters” lol. Also Milwaukee leading? Sure, baseball loves the same teams winning.

  3. Wait I thought Toronto was decent, but they’re like 9½ back? I must’ve missed like half the season. And why does it say New York’s record is also 34-48 (.415) after talking about New York already? Maybe it’s New York in a different league or something, idk, the article confused me. Weekend games are gonna be chaos either way.
