The two men convicted of a deadly shooting inside a Minneapolis bar last October were sentenced on Tuesday.
Prosecutors say 25-year-old Dantrell Clark and 26-year-old Arlonzo Williams Jr. carried out the shooting inside Bar Zia, which resulted in the death of 21-year-old Damarco Fletcher Jr. and hurt three others.
A judge sentenced Williams Jr. to 875 months in prison, which totals over 72 years. Clark was sentenced to 715.5 months in prison, or nearly 60 years.

In July, both were found guilty of second-degree murder, attempted murder, gang-motivated charges and illegal firearm possession.

The shooting happened at around 11:40 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Bar Zia, located on Fourth Street in Minneapolis.
A timeline of the shooting shows that Fletcher Jr. was attacked one minute after he walked into the bar and 10 seconds after he stepped onto the dance floor.
According to court documents, both Clark and Williams Jr. are active members of the “Lows” gang.

It is unclear why the attack began, but prosecutors say Fletcher was sucker punched and shot multiple times at close range. The gunfire killed Fletcher and injured three others.
Ericka Wheeler, Fletcher’s mother, told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS later that month that her son had a unique energy.
“His smile, his charisma, his energy, like you couldn’t be down around him, not even like, not for a second,” she said. “He lights up the room. You know, people be excited to see him.”
