For a show built on secrets and second chances, filming looked like business as usual in Uptown Manhattan on Friday, June 5.
Michael C. Hall and Uma Thurman were spotted on location as cameras rolled for “Dexter: Resurrection” Season 2. photographed alongside director Marcos Siega while production continued through the neighborhood. At one point. Hall was seen chatting with Thurman while leaning against a black SUV before the pair moved through the area as filming stayed in motion.
Hall kept his look simple and casual in a charcoal short-sleeve button-down shirt, black pants, and dark sneakers. Thurman leaned into a sleek all-black style, wearing a cropped leather jacket, belted trousers, loafers, and aviator-style sunglasses.
The second season continues the story that began in “Dexter: New Blood.” In the first season, Dexter Morgan woke up from a coma after being shot by his son Harrison and traveled to New York City in search of him, only for his past to catch up.
Production for Season 2 began earlier this year after the show scored a renewal in October 2025. In April, it was announced that “Succession” star Brian Cox had joined the series’ second season in a series regular role.
With Thurman and Hall back on the streets of New York, the on-set momentum matches the premise: Dexter returns to the city looking for answers, and production keeps moving forward as the next chapter of “Dexter: Resurrection” takes shape.
