Netflix opens the gates of one of California’s most exclusive communities with “Calabasas Confidential.” The new reality series brings a group of lifelong friends. foes. and exes back to Calabasas after they’ve graduated from college—only this time. it’s not fresh starts that greet them. It’s the unresolved drama they left behind.
The show’s logline sets the scene in a familiar way: back home in their parents’ hillside mansions. they’re forced to face what they’ve avoided for years while trying to decide what comes next—for their lives and their relationships. Four years may have created distance. but new flames. old feuds. and unexpected secrets still come knocking behind the gates of LA’s most envied zip code.
“Calabasas Confidential” is produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios. The series is executive produced by Brent Montgomery, Courtney White, Gardner Reed, Will Nothacker, Ally Gasparian, Alex Rosenberg, and Bill Dixon.
The cast is anchored by a lineup of characters who each represent a different thread of the group’s tangled history. Kimora is played by Kimora Lewis, while Jodie is portrayed by Jodie Woods. Preston Pippen appears as Preston, and Emilie Nelson takes on the role of Emilie. Jemma Durrant plays Jemma, and Suede Brooks is Suede.
