Flagg lived up to the hype of being the first overall pick, giving Dallas an instant cornerstone following the departure of Luka Doncic. He quickly adjusted to the rigors of the NBA and showcased his all-around acumen, which was a testament to his maturity.
Remember: He is still a teenager.
The 19-year-old forward is fully aware that he cannot rest on his laurels, especially since he will be targeted more by the defense in his second campaign. Flagg has been grinding in the offseason, doing individual training and skills development, as shown in a video posted on Instagram.
