Rain? No biggie. Margot Robbie has it covered. The actor, who has been spending her summer in Paris filming a prequel to Ocean’s Eleven, didn’t let a little bad weather in the French capital stop her from wearing a sheer, lacy date-night look. (Nor did she let it persuade her against leather accessories—and for this, we’re particularly impressed.)
Stepping out with an umbrella for dinner with her husband, Tom Ackerley, Robbie was photographed wearing a little semi-sheer gray cami from Zara with a matching neck scarf. The piece was defined by delicate rouleau straps and a low V neckline, with all-over sequin appliqués tracing the scalloped edges and accentuating the floral motifs of the lace fabric.
Grounding the sparkling silver accents, the star wore the party top with a casual taupe skirt. The midi-length style was designed with a thigh-high slit and playful ruching, creating an asymmetrical hem that, for the most part, reached below the knee. There, it was met by a pair of slouchy, chunky leather boots—an It girl favorite this summer. Hers, courtesy of Khaite, came in and slightly faded black leather, with a block heel, pointed toe, and slightly Western feel.
Robbie matched the leather to her dark chocolate-brown Chanel 25 bag, a quilted calfskin accessory with a drawstring closure and gold-toned hardware. Between the spacious body and extra side pockets, it offered ample space for a phone, some lipstick, a small umbrella, and anything else that you might need on a night out (the Ocean’s Eleven prequel script, perhaps?).
