Man, woman found shot to death inside west Houston apartment office

HOUSTON – Houston police detectives are investigating a double homicide at an apartment complex on Ella Lee Lane.

Officers responded to the apartment complex located on S Gessner and Westheimer around 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found a man and woman shot to death inside the apartment’s management office.

According to police, a maintenance worker and a resident who was trying to pay their rent found the man and woman shot to death inside the office.

Investigators do not believe this is a murder-suicide and believe a third person was involved.

Authorities said they are talking to possible witnesses and checking surveillance video at the complex to try to identify the shooter.
