Man killed in early-morning stabbing in Dorchester

A man was fatally stabbed in Dorchester early Monday, police said.

Around 3:20 a.m., the Boston Police Department received a report of a person stabbed in the area of Wilbert Road and Harvard Street, the department said in a press release. 

Officers who responded found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said. 

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
