A man was arrested for two apparently random assaults on Friday, according to Boston police.
Around 11:45 a.m. Friday, Boston police responded to two separate assaults downtown, the department said in a press release.
Aaron Meuse, 42, of Boston was arrested and is expected to be arraigned on the charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
The initial victim told police he was picking up a prescription at a pharmacy when Meuse allegedly struck him twice on his right upper arm before fleeing, police said.
The victim noticed two puncture marks and blood dripping from his arm. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Officers then responded to the area of West Street downtown. A second victim said Meuse walked into a bar and allegedly assaulted him after attempting to order a drink, police said.
The victim then flagged down Suffolk University police, who arrested Meuse, police said.
The second victim sustained a minor laceration near the neck and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Attorney information for Meuse was not publicly listed as of Monday evening.
