Man Allegedly Stabbed Grandma 11 Times After Grocery Dispute

Police say Keo Nottage Jr. turned a request to carry groceries into a violent attack on his grandmother, stabbing her 11 times. He is charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon and remains held without bond as the grandmother fights for her life.

A Mother’s Day dinner plan was supposed to end with family at the table. Instead, West Palm Beach police say it turned into a nightmare inside a home where a 29-year-old man allegedly stabbed his grandmother 11 times, leaving her in critical condition.

Keo Nottage Jr.. now faces serious charges after authorities allege the violence began when his grandmother and cousin returned from a grocery trip.. Investigators say Nottage was inside the residence when the cousin asked him to help bring items inside—an exchange that allegedly sparked a sudden escalation.

The arrest affidavit says Nottage became agitated and declared. “someone is going to die today. ” before grabbing a kitchen knife and attacking his grandmother multiple times.. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic and horrifying. including one family member yelling. “You stabbed my f—ing grandma!” after seeing the repeated strikes.

As the family tried to respond, the affidavit adds that Nottage allegedly went after others inside the home as well.. The cousin reportedly stepped outside to call for help, then told police they heard screams from inside.. When the cousin re-entered. they said they saw Nottage holding the knife and their grandmother on the ground. but could not see her from the knees down.

Fearing for their safety, the cousin fled—jumping a fence—before contacting police. The affidavit states that during that escape, Nottage allegedly chased them outside while shouting, “Do you want to fade? What the f— are you going to do?”

Authorities say the threats didn’t stop until officers arrived. Nottage was taken into custody after police responded shortly after the attack, and he remains armed in the moments leading to his arrest, the affidavit alleges.

He has been charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon and is being held without bond.

First responders rushed the grandmother to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where doctors performed emergency surgery. She remains in critical condition.

Court records show Nottage is scheduled to return to court on June 9, 2026, while investigators continue looking into what led to the escalation.
