With just a week left before the Season 8 finale on Sunday, July 12, Love Island USA sent Parmida Keshani and Corbin Mims home on Sunday, July 5—after Ariana Madix staged a karaoke twist and America’s vote left three couples vulnerable.
When Ariana Madix dropped the news on Sunday night, the villa didn’t have time to catch its breath. On the July 5 episode of Love Island USA season eight. a karaoke competition ended—and then Ariana surprised the islanders by revealing that another couple was being dumped just days after two couples were already sent home.
The Peacock dating competition is now in its final week before one couple is voted as America’s favorite, with a $100,000 grand prize.
The episode kicked off with the remaining couples taking part in a karaoke challenge. The islanders ranked one another from best to worst performance, and Ariana used the results to set up what came next.
America’s vote then determined who was safe and who was in danger. Ariana announced that four couples were safe from elimination: Aniya & Carl, Trinity & Bryce, Melanie & Sincere, and Tierra & KC.
Below them, three couples were vulnerable: Parmida & Corbin, Kayda & Zach, and Kenzie & Dylan.
Ariana then revealed an added twist tied to the karaoke challenge—Kenzie and Dylan, after winning the karaoke challenge, were safe from being dumped.
That left the safe couples to make the call. The couples still standing had to vote on the remaining bottom two couples, choosing which pair they wanted to save. Kayda and Zach received four votes, while Parmida and Corbin received one.
With that vote complete, Parmida Keshani and Corbin Mims were dumped from the villa, leaving the final stretch before the season finale.
They were sent home exactly one week before the finale NEXT Sunday (July 12).
This latest dumping arrives two episodes after Amora Robinson and Gal Tshnieder, Jaiden Bacciocco and Caleb McDaniel, and Jen Terry were all dumped from the villa.
Only FOUR regular episodes of Love Island USA remain, plus an episode of Aftersun, before the season finale crowns the winning couple.

Wait so they dumped them because of karaoke?? That show is wild.
I feel like America always votes weird. Like how are Parmida and Corbin the ones going home if they literally didn’t do anything wrong lol. Maybe production just wanted drama for the finale.
Kinda confused—didn’t they say Kenzie and Dylan won karaoke so they were safe, but then Ariana still says “another couple” is dumped? So was Parmida dumped by votes or by the karaoke results? Love Island edits are so messy.
People keep blaming America but it’s really the producers, right? Like they always time it for maximum backlash before the finale. Also the fact that Parmida got 1 vote and Kayda got 4… okay that means everyone hates Parmida in the villa? That’s just what it sounded like to me anyway.
