For anyone who spends their days inside spreadsheets. the Logitech MX Master 3S has always promised one thing beyond basic clicking: scrolling that feels faster and more controlled. Now that promise comes with a rare price—Amazon has the platform-agnostic wireless mouse down to $89.99. $30 off. matching the best price seen so far this year.

At a glance, the MX Master 3S looks like a fairly normal premium mouse. The difference is hiding near the left thumb: it includes a unique second scroll wheel that’s surprisingly useful for horizontal scrolling when you’re working across wide tables and dense spreadsheets.

This is also a mouse that doesn’t lock you into one ecosystem. You can connect the MX Master 3S to Windows. MacOS. ChromeOS. and Linux systems using either Bluetooth or the included USB-A 2.4GHz wireless adapter. In total. it has six buttons. and Logitech says they’re impressively quiet—plus they’re customizable through Logitech’s software.

Battery life is rated at about 70 days of use, based on Logitech’s claim. In our review, it ran down slightly faster than that. Still, it’s hard to feel punished here, since you can use the mouse while it’s charging.

The comparison many shoppers will make is with Logitech’s newer MX Master 4. which costs $119.99 and adds haptic feedback that triggers when you press the thumb rest. It’s a cool feature. along with a few other minor improvements to the MX Master formula—but the $30 jump may be tough to justify if what you want most is the day-to-day spreadsheet control the MX Master 3S already delivers.

  1. I saw $89.99 and thought that was the MX Master 4 price lol. If it works on Linux too then yeah maybe. But the battery only like 70 days?? that sounds kinda bad for a “premium” mouse.

  2. Wait the second scroll wheel is for horizontal scrolling? I thought that was just on fancy keyboards not mice. Also it says Bluetooth or USB-A but in 2026 who even has USB-A still… so are they lying or am I missing something

  3. For spreadsheets?? wow my life is basically spreadsheets so I’m tempted. But I don’t trust “quiet customizable buttons” anymore bc every mouse says that and then it’s still loud clicking. Also why would you pay extra for the MX Master 4 if the 3S already has the fancy scroll thing, unless that thumb rest haptic is like magical or whatever.
