There’s a new NCIS series coming to CBS this fall and we have photos from set!
LL Cool J is reprising his role as Sam Hanna in the upcoming series NCIS: New York alongside Scott Caan as roguish agent Nick Schaeffer.
The guys were spotted on the set of the show on Monday (August 24) in Brooklyn, N.Y.
What is NCIS: New York about?
Legendary NCIS Agent Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) returns to his hometown of New York City to their field office, partnering with a roguish agent (Scott Caan) and helping lead a new team as they are tasked with high-stakes missions to defend one of the most vital cities and ports in the world.
The show will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, joining a full night of NCIS programming. The lineup includes NCIS at 8 p.m. ET, followed by New York, followed by NCIS: Origins at 10 p.m. ET.
Jennifer Beals, Shane Harper, Jacqueline Byers, and Devin Druid also star.
People has shared the logline for the series premiere, which sees Hanna returning to New York after being away for “years of special assignments and covert ops.”
“When Sam’s friend and Navy reservist Jack Halloway is found dead, he requests permission from Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells (Beals) to investigate his friend’s death,” it reads.
“Robyn pairs Sam with roguish agent Nick Schaeffer (Caan), who introduces him to the rest of the team: clean-cut Wyatt Sellers (Harper), bright-eyed Addy Ross (Byers) and hacker-turned-computer guy Sean Sullivan (Druid). As the team investigates Jack’s death, they work together to gather key information that can help find the culprits.”
NCIS: New York will premiere on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 on CBS.
