Chrisley. a podcaster and one of reality star Todd Chrisley’s two children with his first wife. was arrested in Concord. Georgia. on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was booked on five counts. including DUI less safe—an allegation tied to a blood alcohol level below 0.08%—attempting to elude police. improper passing. reckless driving. and speeding. according to a police report obtained by The Times.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office set bail for the five counts totaling $5,961, according to the report. Chrisley was released from custody around 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

In an account she gave to TMZ, Chrisley said she was pulled over for speeding past a car on a two-lane road because the car “almost hit an animal.” She told TMZ she was trying to miss that car and “whatever the animal was,” and she said she planned to fight the charges.

The deputy’s report describes the stop differently. It says Chrisley was pulled over for traveling 86 mph on a surface street. After the deputy activated the lights on his car and initiated the traffic stop. Chrisley allegedly passed “multiple suitable stopping locations” before finally pulling over at a Chevron station.

In the report, the deputy who spoke with her wrote that Chrisley’s stories weren’t making sense. The deputy also said her speech was slurred and her breath smelled of alcohol. After she was asked to step out of the Ford Bronco. the report says Chrisley told the officer she didn’t know why she had been pulled over. before later saying it was because she swerved around another vehicle that had “almost hit a deer.”.

The officer asked her if that was why she was speeding, and the report says she answered “that is exactly why.” The deputy also wrote that Chrisley then told him the car in front of her had been brake-checking her as she drove home, and that she hadn’t been traveling at nearly 90 mph.

The report says Chrisley refused to participate in field sobriety tests when the deputy asked her to and also declined a blood test. No contraband was found in the car, according to the report.

The arrest landed after a separate, earlier legal storm for the family. In mid-April. Chrisley’s then-boyfriend. David Landsman. was arrested in Cherokee County on a felony charge of aggravated assault/strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of battery. People reported that Landsman allegedly placed his hand around a person’s neck and told them they were “not going anywhere.”.

Chrisley, 36, is the host of “The Southern Tea” podcast and appeared in 20 episodes of “Chrisley Knows Best” from 2014 into 2017. She is also the daughter of Teresa Terry, Todd Chrisley’s first wife.

Todd was serving a 12-year sentence in Florida and Julie was serving seven years at a facility in Kentucky when President Trump pardoned them in 2025. clearing the convictions from their records and ending their sentences.

Chrisley’s legal and family history has also been shaped by a long-running estrangement. Lindsie was estranged from her family for years over their suspicion that she had squealed to state and federal officials. Todd and Julie sued the state of Georgia in 2019. alleging that a tax official had targeted the couple’s estranged daughter and improperly shared confidential tax information to try to elicit compromising information on the family. The suit said, as a result, the Chrisleys were forced to “incur substantial personal and financial hardship.”.

In October 2019. sources said they were close to Lindsie told TMZ that she spoke with the state official only to get updates about when her father might be arrested. so that she could shield her young son from any drama. In 2022. she said on her podcast that she and her father got back in touch after her second filing to divorce husband Will Campbell went public in summer 2021. The family members appeared across each other’s podcasts, but Chrisley later said the reconciliation didn’t last.

In March 2025, she said on her podcast that she hadn’t had any contact with her dad in a year. The state of Georgia settled with the elder Chrisleys in January 2024, agreeing to pay them $1 million.

  1. Sounds like the report is saying she refused the test and ran from them. But also she’s like “I was focused on what was in front of me”?? which one is it lol.

  2. Wait I thought she said the deputy was wrong because she almost hit an animal on a two-lane road. Passing multiple spots to pull over doesn’t really match that though. Also “DUI less safe” is like not even that high right? so why all the extra charges like eluding and reckless driving? Feels off.

  3. I don’t even know who this Lindsie Chrisley is but refusing tests is a huge red flag. And 86 mph in Concord?? like come on. Everybody on TMZ always has some story and then police report says something else. If she really thought she’d hit an animal then why not slow down for once? Seems like she wanted to get away.
