Lindsay Hubbard Trashes West Wilson Over Summer House ‘Aftermath’

Lindsay Hubbard fired back at former costar West Wilson after he said he hoped an NBA Finals Game 6 would prevent viewers from watching Summer House: The Aftermath. West’s comments came after The Aftermath was greenlit and scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, and H
Lindsay Hubbard didn’t wait long to respond.
After West Wilson admitted he’d hoped fans would skip an upcoming Summer House bonus episode. Hubbard took to Threads and went straight for her former costar. On Sunday, June 14, she wrote: “West Wilson: you are trash. Trying to get people to not watch our show that I brought you on, you should move immediately.”.
In a follow-up post, she doubled down: “Brother, you get paid for that episode. Just be thankful you still have a paycheck from our show.”
West, 31, made the comment during a Friday, June 12, podcast appearance. He said he hoped the NBA playoffs would collide with the release of “Aftermath. ” the bonus episode tied to Bravo’s Summer House season 10 reunion. The reunion itself had wrapped earlier—Bravo’s three-part reunion finished on Tuesday. June 9—before the network greenlit “The Aftermath. ” set to air on Tuesday. June 16.
On his “Show me Something” podcast. West told cohost Sophie Cunningham that he’d been hoping for a specific outcome in the NBA finals to boost the timing showdown. He said the Knicks could lose Game 5 to keep the follow-up game on the schedule. calling it “This could be the best f***ing thing ever.” He described being ready to move on after what he thought would be the end of the reunion cycle—until he learned “Bonus episode next week.”.
His frustration sounded like momentum turning into a pitch. “I was like, ‘Motherf***ing f***.’”
West then leaned into the exact conflict he’d been hoping for. With the finals involved, he said: “If the Spurs win Saturday and they go back to MSG and they play game 6, it will be Tuesday night [at] the same time they air this f***ing, goddamn bonus episode.”
He wanted the overlap to create maximum attention for a different reason than Hubbard would later express. “Give me f***ing Knicks in 6 at the same time as this s*** on TV. I will be the happiest person in the motherf***ing world.”
He capped it off by saying: “I swear to God, give me the Spurs Saturday and the Knicks on f***ing Tuesday night, and we will pop champagne on this f***ing podcast Wednesday.”
The scenario didn’t play out the way West hoped. The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5, securing their first NBA championship in 53 years.
After the comments circulated, Hubbard addressed “The Aftermath” directly—even though she hadn’t seen it yet. In her Threads post. she admitted that while she hadn’t watched the episode. she was still positive about its airing. “I feel it in my bones, it is GOOD GOOD,” she wrote. “Even though we know some people didn’t listen, [it’s] still good!”.
She added the reunion would bring the cameras back for more fallout, with “The Aftermath” billed as a follow-up to capture the reunion aftermath amid the cast’s ongoing drama.
The stakes of that drama are tied closely to West’s situation with Amanda Batula, 34. West and Amanda had announced in a joint Instagram post on March 31 that they’d acted on romantic feelings toward one another—shocking fans and their Summer House costars. The news landed after West had been involved in an on-and-off relationship with Ciara Miller. while Amanda had announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke about two months prior.
During the Summer House reunion. Amanda and West tried to tamp down accusations that their relationship overlapped with Amanda’s prior marriage timeline. Still. the follow-up format of “The Aftermath” is set to push the conversation further: the couple sat down with Kyle. 43. and Lindsay. respectively. on “The Aftermath” to discuss additional details about their relationship.
And as Tuesday, June 16 approaches, Hubbard’s message makes one thing clear: the fight over attention—who watches and who doesn’t—is now part of the story itself.
