Misryoum reports a cash sum was stolen in broad daylight from an off licence on Limerick’s northside, with a suspect charged afterward.
A broad-daylight robbery in Limerick left an off licence short of cash, and police say a suspect has since been charged.
Misryoum understands Gardaí were alerted to an alleged robbery at a business on High Road, Thomondgate, shortly after 2pm on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said a sum of cash was taken from the premises and that no injuries were reported.
An investigation followed, and later a man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident.
Misryoum notes that even when daylight robberies are swift, the aftermath often hinges on witness accounts and any recorded footage that can help narrow down what happened.
The spokesperson added that the man has been charged and appeared before the CCJ Limerick Court No 6.
Because the case is now before the courts, Misryoum reports that no further details were provided.
