Levis returns to practice, two picks in Saleh week

Will Levis tried to turn the page on a week dominated by his mother’s comments about a leaked intimate tape. At Tennessee Titans practice, he still struggled under new head coach Robert Saleh, throwing two interceptions in team drills as he fought for the No.

By Friday, Will Levis had already endured more than a tough week on his way back to football.

His mother. Beth. had spoken publicly about an intimate video involving Levis and his ex-girlfriend. influencer Gia Duddy—explaining the shock. the apology that came first. and the money and investigators she said Levis spent after realizing the footage had gone viral. Then Levis walked back onto the Tennessee Titans practice field, aiming to end the noise and focus on the job.

It didn’t work the way he wanted.

Under the watchful eye of new Titans head coach Robert Saleh, Levis’ day was defined by mistakes. Defensive tackle Solomon Thomas intercepted his first throw. and the Titans website labeled it “a bad pass by Levis.” Cornerback Keydrain Calligan then picked off the second interception while Levis was trying to find Lance McCutcheon.

Levis, 26, had been expected to use the practice week to push his case in the quarterback pecking order. He has been returning to action after missing all of 2025 due to shoulder surgery, and the competition is clear: Levis is battling Mitchell Trubisky for the No. 2 role behind Cam Ward.

There were encouraging moments—he went 5-of-6 in the 7-on-7 portion—but the numbers tell a rougher story overall. In team drills, he finished 10-of-17 with the two picks, leaving him 15-of-23 for the day. The Titans also said Levis connected with Courtney Jackson on a “beautiful deep ball” and showed signs of understanding with tight end David Martin-Robinson. Still, they added it “wasn’t his best day.”.

The contrast is stark: while Levis was trying to refocus on football, his mother had made sure the off-field fallout stayed in the headlines.

Earlier this week. Beth Levis spoke in an interview with Ross Tucker about how her son’s leaked tape—and the way it reached social media—led her to start a clothing brand called “Chill Life Style.” She said the brand encourages consumers to spend less time on their phones and more time engaging with the world around them. Beth also described the moment she realized what had happened. telling Tucker. “As soon as he started talking my heart immediately sank.”.

She said she was in the car when she learned that an intimate video involving Levis and his ex-girlfriend had gone viral. Beth described pulling over as she learned the news and said Levis’ first words were: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, so sorry Mom.”

In the same interview, she pushed back on rumors circulating online that she said claimed Levis or Duddy had leaked the footage deliberately. Levis and Duddy split in September 2023, and Beth said she noticed people questioning whether one of them had leaked the footage to upset the other.

Beth said the reality was different. “There was conjecture that this video was leaked on purpose by my son or his girlfriend at the time which was not the case at all. ” she said. She also said Levis hired a cyber security specialist and a private investigator. spending what she described as an “exorbitant amount of money” to get to the bottom of where the footage came from.

Beth said the investigators concluded that Levis had been hacked by criminals “thousands of miles away.” She added that a lot of the content was taken down. but she warned that “you can never scrape anything entirely off the internet.” She said investigators found the content was stolen and that Levis’ private laptop—“or whatever”—was breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college.

She said the investigation pointed to “an eastern European hacking group” that targets “an attractive couple” for attention. In her telling, it wasn’t something malicious from someone close to Levis or Duddy.

Levis’ football past has its own sharp edge, too. The leaked-tape week landed after memories of draft night humiliation in 2023. when he was widely expected to be a first-round pick but wasn’t called. Beth had referenced the time when Levis was sat in the green room alongside Duddy and his mom. with pick after pick coming and going without his name.

He eventually went to Tennessee in the second round at No. 33. The Titans traded up to take him.

Now, he is preparing for the 2026 season—returning for the final year of his $9.5 million rookie contract with the Titans.

The next step is already mapped. The Titans start the season on September 13 against the New York Jets in Nashville.

So the question hanging over Levis at practice is familiar, and it’s immediate: can he turn his return from shoulder surgery into a clean football week—while everything else continues to follow him into the story?

  1. Wait his mom talked about a tape?? I’m lost. But also why are they even practicing if all this is happening, like focus on the legal/investigations part first?

  2. Idk man, 5-of-6 sounds decent but then 10-of-17 with picks is like… pick city. Also Saleh is new so maybe it’s just him changing the whole QB vibe. Trubisky vs Levis though?? they’re both kinda old news at this point.

  3. The headline makes it sound like he’s “back” but he still can’t hit nobody. And the whole leaked video thing… I swear that would mess up anybody’s head. If she’s saying he spent money and had investigators, why isn’t anyone saying that’s a bigger issue than football? Anyway, I’m just here for Cam Ward being the starter.
